Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the load-shedding to 70.5 hours from 58.5 hours a week with effect from December 17, 2014 (Poush 02, 2071). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 9.5 to 11 hours in a day.
